Ingredients:
- 15 oz can Garbanzo beans drained (reserve liquid)
- 1/2 cup Tahini
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/3 cup Lemon Juice
- 5 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Salt
Directions to roast garlic:
- Rub cloves in olive oil (not the Tbsp, that's for later)
- Wrap in foil
- Bake in oven at 450 ° F for 15 minutes
- Remove outer skin
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients into processor and process like you've never processed before!
- Add reserved liquid to preference, as hummus can get dry without
- Sprinkle on some paprika
- Eat
- Eat more
For a nice variation add 6oz of roasted red peppers
Fun Fact:
A plate of hummus weighing over 11 tons took the prize as the largest dish of hummus in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010.
