Do you wan't to know a see-ka-writ? Let's say you are making meat for dinner but it happens to be frozen. On top of that, you only want half of the meat but you don't want to go through the trouble of defrosting the whole thing, cutting it, and refreezing it. Here is a secret my mom taught me. You take the frozen meat and wrap the part you want to stay frozen in foil, and defrost it in the microwave. Now I know what you're thinking.. foil in the microwave?! Yes, it works, but only if you make sure the shiny side of the foil is facing inwards. It will defrost everything uncovered, and leave the rest frozen; perfect for you to slice it and save the rest for later.
Try your best to not crinkle the foil and keep an eye on it just in case.
Remember:
