Kitchen Necessity: Sriracha Sauce


For those sheltered, xenophobes out there who have never tried Sriracha Sauce, meet your new best friend. Sriracha Sauce is a spicy, vietnamese chili sauce that goes on pretty much anything. When I say anything.. I mean anything.. pizza, soup, rice, eggs, fries, salad, heck I have even made peanut butter and sriracha sandwiches. It has a unique flavor that complements most dishes well. You can find it in most major supermarkets.

They also have a chili garlic paste made by the same company. This is a little spicier as it contains the chili seeds as well.

Fun Fact: David Tran, the founder of Huy Fong Foods, named his company after the boat that carried him to the United States in 1980
